A reminder that the UK Endorsement Board and the IASB will be hosting a joint outreach event to discuss the Business Combinations: Disclosures, Goodwill and Impairment Discussion Paper.
Date: 26 November 2020
Time: 12.30pm – 2pm BST [London time]
The event will explore the following key topics from the IASB’s discussion paper:
- Improving disclosures about acquisitions
- Accounting for goodwill
- Presenting total equity less goodwill as a subtotal in the balance sheet
- Accounting for intangibles in business combinations
