Workforce engagement lies at the heart of good corporate governance. The FRC commissioned research by Royal Holloway, University London and the Involvement and Participation Association has found that FTSE350 companies took many different approaches to both engaging with their workforce and using the outcomes of that engagement to influence decision making.

The FRC will host a webinar this Thursday, 10 June at 2-3pm, to explore the main findings of the research but more importantly share the best practice that was found as a result of the more detailed discussions the researchers held with companies. David Styles, Director of Corporate Governance and Stewardship with be joined by Professor Chris Rees, Professor of Employment Relations (RHUL) and Patrick Brione, Head of Policy and Research (IPA) who will discuss the learnings from their review.  This will be a followed by a Q&A session which will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions about the findings in the report and how companies can improve engagement with the workforce.
