FRC comments on latest list of signatories to the Women in Finance Charter

Stephen Haddrill, Chief Executive of the Financial Reporting Council said,
"The Financial Reporting Council is delighted to have signed the Women in Finance Charter. The FRC is proud of its record on diversity and has a majority of women in senior executive positions. We have formed our own Diversity and Inclusion Group that implements best practice across the FRC and are a member of the BEIS Diversity and Inclusion Group.
"A diverse workforce contributes to more integrity in business and the long-term success of organisations which in turn leads to sustainable growth in the UK economy. In our review of the UK Corporate Governance Code we are strengthening its diversity principles and provisions."
