FRC makes minor amendments to Auditor Regulatory Sanctions Procedure (ARSP) and the Crown Dependencies’ Recognised Auditor Sanctions Procedure (CD RASP)

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) is to make minor amendments, pursuant to paragraph 24.1 of the ARSP and CD RASP, to transfer the authorisation of remuneration from its Conduct Committee to the People Committee, with effect from 1 March 2026.

The minor amendments to the ARSP and the CD RASP, will transfer responsibility for “the remuneration of the members of any Independent Sanctions Tribunal[1] , the Convener and any other persons” from the FRC’s Conduct Committee to the FRC’s People Committee (or such other committee as the Board may appoint for this purpose).
