Roundtable invitation: Future of Audit Supervision Strategy

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) invites stakeholders to take part in roundtables to discuss our Future of Audit Supervision Strategy (FASS). The FRC is keen to hear from those involved in the audit landscape, including auditors, their professional bodies, and audit committee members.
The FRC launched FASS to undertake a comprehensive review of our supervisory and approach. It is important that we proactively ensure our activities remain adaptable, reflective of the evolving needs of the market, supports the public interest and reduces unnecessary regulatory burdens.
To support this the FRC will be hosting roundtables where we will discuss with stakeholders how our current regulatory approach can evolve to be fit for the future.
These roundtables are the first phase of our engagement to ensure that the output of our future supervisory model is a fair and just approach which considers the impact of and responds to the challenges and opportunities in the UK audit market.
The first roundtable taking place on Monday 9th June, 10:30-12:00 for auditors, with more roundtables planned through June and July as set out below.
