FRC publishes revisions to TAS 400: Funeral Plans

The FRC has today published version 3.0 of Technical Actuarial Standard 400: Funeral Plans which comes into effect on 17 July. The new version of the Standard includes revisions to ensure it is fit for purpose following the transfer of funeral plan authorisations and supervision from the Funeral Planning Authority to the Financial Conduct Authority.
The revised standard includes revision to existing provisions in relation to risk identification and valuations carried out under the new FCA regime, as well as new provisions in relation to new responsibilities such as approvals and transfers.
