FRC comments on announcement of Jean-Claude Juncker's European Fund for Strategic Investments

"Today the European Commission highlighted the importance of investment to balanced and sustainable growth through the launch of the European Fund for Strategic Investments designed to create jobs and economic growth through supporting private investment. Whilst the detail of how the fund will be delivered is as yet undetermined we support the intention to encourage long-term investment projects to help boost the economies of Europe. We look forward to the detail of the how the Fund will work and hope that it will be an effective incentive for future investment".
