Periodical Fees

A periodical fee is payable on registration as a third country auditor in the UK and annually thereafter while a third country auditor remains on the UK Register of Third Country Auditors.

The level of the fee is set out in the table below and is dependent on:

  1. Whether the application is for: equivalent, transitional or full registration; and
  2. The number of relevant audit clients

Annual Fee Payable by a Registered Third Country Auditor

1-4 £1,500 £2,600
5 or more £2,150 £3,400

The fees are intended to cover the Financial Reporting Council's costs of developing and running the system of registration, other than the costs incurred from the independent inspection of third country auditors.

How to Pay the periodical fees

When the application is received an invoice will be issued for the applicant to pay the Registration fee by a bank transfer.

Please note that registrations cannot be approved or maintained until the FRC has received the full amount due. You should therefore ensure that payments you make include sufficient amounts to cover all transaction and foreign exchange charges which may be incurred.
