IFRS 17 Survey

The UK Endorsement Board invites preparers of financial statements to participate in a survey
on IFRS 17.
The objective of the survey
is to collect information from preparers of financial statements relating to the implementation of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts.
The information collected is intended to help the UK Endorsement Board secretariat assess the impact of IFRS 17 on UK organisations adopting the standard. This will form part of the work necessary to assess the standard for UK endorsement.
Who should respond to this survey?
The survey is intended to be completed by insurers that prepare accounts using IFRS and that are incorporated in the UK. Insurers that are part of a group headed by a UK-incorporated entity are requested to respond to the survey from the perspective of the consolidated group. Stand-alone insurance entities and insurance entities that are part of a group headed by an entity incorporated outside the UK should respond to the survey from the perspective of the UK incorporated entity (or UK sub-group where applicable).
The deadline for completion of the survey is 30 November 2020
