2019 will be an eventful year for business and the Financial Reporting Council. Leaving the European Union will bring many challenges, while in the UK the audit market undergoes scrutiny and transformation. The Financial Reporting Council also faces change as it begins to implement the recommendations of the review conducted by Sir John Kingman and continues its review of UK Corporate Governance along with the consultation on a new Stewardship Code for investors.
Business leaders, investors, governance experts, auditors, accountants and actuaries are invited to the FRC’s 2019 Annual Public Meeting to discuss the key audit and governance issues that business will face in the coming months.
Our Chief Executive Stephen Haddrill will open the event and the Financial Times' John Plender will discuss economic and business issues related to corporate governance; followed by a panel discussion on environmental, social and governance issues.
We do hope you can attend. Places will be limited so please complete the registration form below as soon as possible.
