The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Lloyd’s of London, in collaboration with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), recently hosted a series of roundtable discussions on actuarial function reports in general insurance.
The roundtables provided the opportunity for actuarial function holders and non‑executive directors to discuss how the actuarial function report can most effectively satisfy the regulatory requirements and support the board’s decision-making processes.
This feedback session will include a summary of the findings from the AFR reviews carried out by the PRA and Lloyd’s, the findings from the roundtable series and the opportunity for NEDs and Actuaries to ask questions and provide further suggestions.
