Geoffrey Green was Senior Partner of Ashurst LLP, a leading international law firm, from 1998 to 2008, following which he became Managing Partner, Asia for Ashurst, based in Hong Kong, until his retirement and return to the UK in 2013. He has extensive experience as a corporate lawyer, particularly advising on M&A transactions in the UK and internationally. He is a non-executive director of Vedanta Resources Plc and of a Hong Kong managed private equity and distressed debt fund.
Geoffrey is also a member of the Conduct Committee and is Chair of the Corporate Reporting Review Committee.
Andrew was a partner at KPMG for 28 years. He was lead audit partner for clients in both the commercial and financial services sectors. From 2004 he headed the firm's Department for Professional Practice providing advice on a wide range of financial and corporate reporting issues. During that time, he was a member of the IASB's IFRS Interpretations Committee.
In 2014 Andrew joined Grant Thornton as Head of National Assurance Services, the firm's centre of excellence for corporate reporting and audit matters.
Andrew is Deputy Chair of the Financial Reporting Review Panel.
John served as a member of the FCA Practitioner and Markets Practitioner Panels from 2012-14. He has served as Chairman of the Institute’ of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ Banking Committee and as a Board member of the Institute’s Financial Services Faculty and a member of the Institute’s Business Law Committee.
John is Deputy Chair of the Financial Reporting Review Panel.
John retired from PwC in 2014 after 26 years as a partner Throughout his PwC career, John specialised in bank auditing and advisory services and was PwC’s banking industry leader from 2001-10. From 2010 to his retirement, he led the PwC network’s global IFRS technical group. He is currently Chair of the Audit Committee at Aldermore Group PLC.
John is an audit engagement partner at KPMG LLP, specialising in the Technology and Media sector. He is a member of the TMT leadership team. He has also worked in Transaction Services, where he specialised in capital market transactions.
Paul Boyle OBE
Paul Boyle OBE is Chairman of the whistleblowing charity, Protect. He is a chartered accountant with 35 years’ experience in commercial roles in a variety of industries and in leadership roles in regulatory organisations. He retired from Aviva plc, a global systemically important insurer, at the end of May 2017, having been Chief Internal Auditor since 2010 and a member of the Group Executive Committee. He was President of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (UK & Ireland) for 2016/7. He was Chief Executive of the Financial Reporting Council from 2004 – 2009. He was Chief Operating Officer of the Financial Services Authority. He worked for WH Smith plc and Cadbury Schweppes plc in senior finance roles.

Kathryn Cearns OBE
Kathryn Cearns FCA FCCA is a non-executive director and an independent consultant specialising in technical accounting and auditing issues, company law, corporate governance and related regulation. For 14 years to 2014 she was the Consultant Accountant at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, an international law firm. Kathryn has in the past worked as an auditor, for the UK accounting standard setter and as a technical author for a financial publishing and training firm. Kathryn is a member of the ICAEW Council and immediate past Chairman of the ICAEW Financial Reporting Committee and of the Financial Reporting Advisory Board to HM Treasury, which advises the UK government on public sector financial reporting. She is on the boards of various bodies, including Highways England, the UK Supreme Court and Companies House, and is a member of the External Audit Committee of the IMF. She is also the independent member of the audit committee of both the Press Recognition Panel and Public Sector Audit Appointments Ltd.

Doug is Senior Vice President of PIF, a Sovereign Wealth Fund based in the Middle East. Until early 2020, Doug was Global Head of KPMG’s Valuation Services business based in London dealing with a full range of complex commercial valuation issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing transactions, reorganisations and disputes. Doug joined the Audit department of KPMG in Vancouver, Canada in 1991 and relocated to the UK in 1997 where he was admitted to the partnership in 2001. Doug served as a member of the International Valuation Standards Council Professional Board from 2010 to 2016 and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Achievement for All, a UK educational charity seeking to transform lives through improved educational opportunities and outcomes for children and young people vulnerable to underachievement.
Brendan is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at BP plc. He is also past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Andrew is a commercial valuer and expert witness for disputes involving valuation matters. He leads Deloitte’s specialist Valuation Group in the UK and is a member of Deloitte’s global management executive team for Valuation and Modelling with responsibility for the EMEA region. Andrew has 25 years of valuation experience of preparing and leading numerous valuation engagements in commercial situations, such as M&A and financial restructuring transactions. He also provides advice in the context of financial reporting and the fair valuation of acquired assets. He has been the named expert in over 30 contentious matters, including Investor-State and commercial arbitrations. He has appeared in court or hearings in London, New York, Paris and Hong Kong under High Court, ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules. Andrew is a Counsellor and Fellow Member of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (“CAANZ”), an Associate and Corporate Finance Faculty Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (“ICAEW”), Member of the Securities Institute and he is registered as an Approved Person by the Financial Conduct Authority. Andrew is a member of the government Council of CAANZ.
