In April 2002, the National Housing Federation, the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and the Welsh Federation of Housing Associations issued an ‘Exposure Draft of an Update to the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) Accounting by registered social landlords’. The comment period expires on 17 July 2002.

In April 2002 the Association of Unit Trust Companies (AITC) issued an exposure draft ‘Statement of Recommended Practice: Financial Statement of Investment Trust Companies’. The closing date for comments is 2 July 2002.

In the same month, the Pension Research Accountants Group also published an exposure draft ‘Statement of Recommended Practice: Financial Reports of Pension Schemes’. The closing date for comments is 31 July 2002.

In May 2002 the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) issued ‘Statement of Recommended Practice - Accounting by Limited Liability Partnerships’.

On 14 June 2002, the Charity Commission issued an ‘Exposure Draft of Update Bulletin 1 to Accounting and Reporting by Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (the Charities SORP)’. The closing date for comments is 16 September 2002.

In the same month, CIPFA/LASAAC issued ‘A Statement of Recommended Practice - Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting in the United Kingdom 2002’.
