The ASB holds occasional public meetings. See below for details:
ASB Public Meeting 19 January 2006
The Accounting Standards Board (ASB) hosted a public meeting on its future role on the morning of Thursday 19 January 2006. The ASB prepared two papers as a basis for discussion at the public meeting, which are attached. The first paper sets out revised proposed convergence strategy for the ASB; the second a proposed strategy for the ASB in influencing the direction of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and communicating with its constituents.
