FRC Procurement Policy
FRC is a public sector organisation upholding core standards of a public service, including but not limited to:
- in the spirit of, as well as to the letter of, the law
- high ethical standards
- achieving value for money
(as per Managing Public Money - July 2013 with annexes revised as at September 2019)
Our key procurement principle are:
- delivering value for money
- minimising risk
- applying principles of non-discrimination, equality and transparency
- acting with integrity and complying with applicable regulations
FRC complies with the public sector procurement rules as stipulated in The Public Contracts Regulations (PCR15) 2015 (or any regulation that supersedes PCR15). Where suitable FRC will advertise its tender opportunities on the online platform for tender opportunities for government and its agencies (Contracts Finder (https://www.gov.uk/contracts-finder and/or https://www.gov.uk/find-tender ).
FRC’s supplier relationships seeks to deliver successful, sustainable, solutions. Existing and new suppliers must continuously align their approach, processes and procedures to the core principles relating to minimising risk, compliance to regulations and legislation. In addition, suppliers should strive for good practice relating to information security, financial management, business continuity and Diversity & Inclusion (inclusive of disability inclusion) commitment. FRC does not condone any activity which constitutes modern slavery or human trafficking under the Modern Slavery Act (MSA) 2015. Our suppliers (and supply chain) should maintain the same approach and to have policies and procedures in place to minimise the risk of modern slavery occurring.
Terms and conditions for the FRC’s purchases may vary from case to case. However, the standard FRC Purchase Order (PO) conditions will apply unless a contract has been agreed and signed separately.
